Estes Forwarding Worldwide, a leading United States domestic and international freight forwarder specializing in custom logistics solutions, recently announced the addition of a new, specialized service line serving the broadcast, media and production industries. EFW, a wholly owned subsidiary of Estes Express Lines, is a non-asset freight forwarder who works with clients across the globe and all industries to craft and execute customized logistics solutions.

Currently offering domestic, home delivery, truckload brokerage, exhibit and international logistics services, Broadcast and Media will be new to the company’s service lineup.

“We saw the opportunity to acquire JTA Freight, a logistics company specializing in the television and broadcast vertical, as an opportunity to not only further expand our service offering, but support the long-term growth strategy of our company,” stated Scott Fisher, CEO & President of Estes Forwarding Worldwide.

Thomas Cross will serve as Vice President, Broadcast and Media and lead a specialized team of experts out of EFW’s new Hartford, Connecticut office bringing the total number of EFW regional offices to thirteen. With over twenty years of logistics experience in the television and broadcast industries, Mr. Cross adds further depth to the EFW leadership team.
