Residents are being warned to avoid the area of Salem and Gray streets as crews work to clean the aftermath of a crash at the intersection.
According to Billerica Police Lt. Sean Coffey, there was a collision between a Honda Civic and an oil truck owned by Wright Service Company. The end result: The truck is on its side, leaking heating oil.
There are no reports of injuries. Billerica fire and EMS were called to the scene at 10:30 a.m. As of 11:15, there had been no call for mutual aid.
According to Coffey, there will be significant delays in the area during the cleanup. According to police, state Department of Environmental Protection and state police are also responding.
