The Fire Extinguisher Service Sales Technician must have a valid Driver’s License, great attendance record and is responsible for the sales, installation, maintenance of fire extinguishers. Northwoods Fire Protection assumes direct responsibility for providing outstanding customer service, initiating sales activity, and contributing to the overall departmental success through effective management of internal and external customer relationships.
- Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers per NFPA standards
- Respond to customer requests for fire service needs; perform minor equipment maintenance or repair as needed
- Work with existing customers and Fire Protection management to actively sell products and services
- Successfully communicate information on status of duties to Fire Protection management
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and move products or materials weighing 100+ pounds with the assistance of material handling equipment.
- Regularly work outdoors under all weather conditions.
- Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting.
