PROCUREMENT MANAGER – FM / MRO / CAPEX – GLOBAL FOOD MANUFACTURING – WEST LONDON – £50-55K + 25% BONUS
Having recently gone through a large transformation of their procurement function, my client is looking to increase numbers across their largest category spend area, looking after FM, MRO, capex, logistics and utilities spend (c.€150m). They have recently acquired two rival organisations, making this is most profitable food manufacturing brand of their kind.
Operating within a centralised procurement function, you will be responsible for 12 factories across Europe, implementing the group operating strategy and supporting various stakeholder groups. As a procurement manager, you will be awarded the autonomy to handle projects independently whist working towards a category management position.
As a FM procurement manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the end to end sourcing process across FM, MRO, Cap Ex, Logistics and Utilities with a spend of €.150m
- Developing and executing category strategy plans aligning to business requirements and goals
- Display a high level of technical category experience to drive the group agenda
- Development and implementation of strategic procurement processes to deliver significant cost savings to the organisation
- Working alongside senior stakeholders to benefits the wider organisation
- Negotiate with key suppliers to ensure the best rates and cost savings are being delivered
As a FM procurement manager, you will have:
- Proven track record of working in FM/MRO however other indirects will be considered.
- End to end procurement experience, with an understanding of 7 step sourcing process
- Additional languages (German, Italian, French etc) will be extremely beneficial
- Degree + CIPS beneficial
