This high tech and revolutionary company provide expert direct sourcing services for a number of iconic FMCG brands to help improve product quality and lower costs to drive their business success and development. The company have recently undergone a large amount of growth, and are looking to invest in, and to develop additional procurement professionals. They are seeking candidates with strong analytical and communication skills, keen to further develop their abilities and to excel their procurement career.
The Procurement Sourcing Analyst role will involve:
- Gathering market data and preforming detailed analysis, identifying optimal pricings for specific products, and presenting recommendations to develop the procurement function
- Managing the direct material sourcing process, aiming to exploit potential areas for improvement to drive optimal product cost and quality
- Aiding in the formation of new business strategies and improvements arising from your thorough research and analysis
- Collaborating and exchange knowledge with direct procurement professionals at all levels across the business, to further improve your procurement ability and soft skills
The required background for the Procurement Sourcing Analyst role:
- Prior experience within direct material purchasing and/or sourcing in an FMCG or Retail background, having detailed knowledge of the direct procurement process
- Strong analytical skills being able to extract workable solutions and optimal product pricing from sets of complex data and thorough market research,
- Excellent communication skills, being able to present research findings in a concise and coherent format to internal management and external clients
- A career motivated, well organised individual that performs well as part of a team
- Relevant numeric degree or equivalent
