dnata has significantly expanded its operations at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
Having been awarded a three-year contract by Lufthansa Group, the company invested US$ 4 million in equipment and added 125 aviation professionals to its team at the airport.
Starting from November, dnata delivers quality and reliable ground-, and passenger handling, aircraft cleaning and de-icing services for four airlines of the airline group, including Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines.
They will operate up to six flights a day from Dulles Airport. dnata now serves 14 airlines with a team of over 300 customer-oriented staff at IAD, managing 5,200 aircraft movements annually.

dnata commenced ground handling and cargo operations in the United States in 2016. Since then, the company has invested more than US$ 50 million in facilities, equipment, training and technology, while continually expanding its operations in the country.
