Firefighters working on putting out a fire at 208 Mohawk St. Sunday morning.
CINCINNATI — Flames tore through an abandoned warehouse in OTR Sunday morning, sending smoke into the air, which could be seen and smelt miles away.
Firefighters with the Cincinnati Fire Department responded 208 Mohawk St. around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Once on scene, firefighters called a second alarm to help put the blaze out.
Part of the warehouse collapsed around 5:30 a.m., and firefighters on scene said they expected the rest of the building to collapse as well.
Officials said the structure was built in 1850, and this caused some issues for firefighters attempting to put the fire out.
