Local authorities said that Heihe port city that falls to the northeast of Heilongjiang Province in China posted a yearly rise of 28.3 percent in its cargo volume in the earlier year 2019.
Customs in the city said that the cargo volume of Heihe has went up to 743,000 tons in the year. The imports were mostly soybeans and other food and the exports consisted of fruit, vegetables and mechanical and light industrial products.
The city falls on the border between China and Russia and it is only about 100 meters away from the capital of Amur region in Russia, Blagoveshchensk.
The city has improved efforts to reduce customs clearance time, develop the efficiency of custom clearance and cut the foreign trade companies cost since the China Pilot Free Trade Zone Heihe Area has gone into construction in the earlier year.
