Russian cargo airline Airbridgecargo (ABC) is the first pure all cargo carrier to cut all scheduled connections from Europe to China due to the epidemic triggered by the coronavirus, according to Air Cargo News sister title DVZ.
So far only combi carriers have refrained from flights to and from China.
According to ABC vice president Europe Andrey Andreev this measure will initially apply until February 12.
Up to this point, the carrier only relies on the partial or full chartering of its freighters.
After February 12, the cargo airline plans to fly daily from Europe to China with one connection.
According to ABC, all transpacific connections to China will also be canceled by the end of February.

On February 2, only one B777F flew via Novosibirsk-Tolmachovo (OVB) to Shanghai Pudong.
On February 3, there were three flights (via OVB) to and from China, and on February 5 there will be only one freight connection (via OVB) from and to China.
The LHC freighter flights to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other global destinations continue to operate as scheduled.
