NUR-SULTAN — The volume of cargo shipments from China to Kazakhstan dropped 43% year-on-year, or by 150,421 tonnes, in February, Kazakh Deputy Industry Minister Berik Kamaliyev said on Monday.
The number of cargo trains crossing the border – some of which carry goods that are shipped further West to Europe – halved year-on-year last month to 48, Kamaliyev told a government meeting. (Reporting by Tamara Vaal; Writing by Olzhas Auyezov; Editing by Tom Hogue)
