“Access is an issue. We were not wanting to put firefighters in front of the building in fear of a collapse. So they are operating from the corners, just actually getting to all areas that are on fire has made it difficult,” Assistant Fire Chief Thomas Lakamp said. “The guys have done a great job getting their ladder pipes set up and their master stream set up and have actually made a lot of progress in the last three hours.”
