The total amount of these purchases was 142 billion 727 million 54 thousand liras. 39.3 billion liras of this amount was composed of municipal expenditures. In the said period, 124,203 public procurements were made by the municipalities. Thus, approximately 28 percent of the total amount was spent by the municipalities.
Municipalities were followed by other special budget organizations with 20.6 billion liras, the Ministry of Health with 19.2 billion liras, and public economic enterprises (KIT) with 14.6 billion liras. The Ministry of National Defense purchased 9.5 billion lira, higher education institutions 7.8 billion lira, the Ministry of National Education 5.4 billion lira, and the Ministry of Interior received 3.8 billion lira.
