Sightseers on Savannah’s River Street witnessed the awe-inspiring arrival of the Biglift Baffin cargo ship delivering three new super cranes to the Georgia Ports Authority just before noon on Saturday. Sailing under the Dutch flag, the 173-meter-long Biglift Baffin completed its two-month journey from Nantong, China to the Port of Savannah, according to marinetraffic.com, where the GPA is working to open its Mason Mega Rail Terminal Phase I in spring of 2020.
