MARION COUNTY, Tenn. —
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) says a cargo fire has shut down part of Interstate 24 in Marion County Wednesday afternoon.
TDOT says the fire was reported at 2:41pm CST, with crews closing I-24 eastbound near Kimball. TDOT has since released an update, saying the right lane is blocked.
The scene is expected to be cleared by 7:43pm CST, according to TDOT.
