Work is underway on an industrial warehouse scheme on the trade park phase of Exeter’s thriving Matford Green Business Park.
Due for completion in May this year, the development will be available to lease as a single 31,000 sq ft unit or as a sub-division of up to four units from 7,700 sq ft.
Devon Contractors have been appointed to construct the new units, with them being marketed by Colliers International and Alder King.
“These units will suit local, regional and national occupiers and add to the success of Matford Green,” said Tom Watkins, associate director in the industrial and logistics team at Colliers International in the South West and Wales.
“With industrial supply at historically low levels, they will replenish the market with much needed new Grade A stock.
Noel Stevens, partner at Alder King in Exeter, added: “There will remain a final phase of approximately four acres to be released, which can accommodate design and build opportunities for occupiers looking for bespoke premises to lease.”
The latest phase will join the new car dealerships at Matford Green, which include Jaguar Land Rover, Audi, VW, Toyota, Lexus, Ford and Mazda.
